Security

Security starts with deployment fit.

LifeLine works with physical-site context, measurement records, and operational outputs. Security planning starts by defining what data is needed, who needs access, where outputs go, and what controls apply to the deployment.

Deployment-led security posture

LifeLine reviews data needs, access requirements, output destinations, and site constraints before recommending a deployment path. The goal is to collect and route only the information needed for the operating decision.

Inquiry handling

  • The contact form submits to a server-side endpoint rather than exposing submission service secrets in client code.
  • A hidden honeypot field helps reduce automated form abuse.
  • Submission size, field length, and request frequency limits help reduce oversized or repeated form abuse.
  • The upstream submission request uses a timeout so a slow provider response does not hold the function open indefinitely.
  • API responses are configured not to be cached by Vercel.
  • Direct email remains available if the form submission service is unavailable.

Deployment data planning

For customer deployments, access, retention, integrations, alert routing, and operating records are scoped during review. Site-specific security requirements are agreed before deployment work begins.

Customer confidentiality

LifeLine does not publish customer deployment details, site diagrams, operational data, or customer-specific results without customer approval.
